5.26.13 - Blacks

Paddled out at 5:30 am, solo. Tide was a -1.7' low at 5:01 am. Conditions were initially bumpy, with onshore winds. Torrey Pines Outer Buoy was reporting Significant Wave Height of 3.4' from 202° at 16 s. When I first got down to the beach the ocean had a serious case of morning sickness. With the tide drained out, and the ocean was pretty choppy. As the session progressed it actually cleaned up quite a bit. There were some fun ones, but nothing like yesterday. A little more inconsistent, and crossed up with some of the WNW swell. Waves were chest to head high, with pluses. Water was a tad cooler today, but still nice in my short sleeve full. Board ridden: 5'11" Xanadu Pig 2.
