8.31.13 - 25th St. Del Mar

Paddled out at 1:00 ish, with Joel S. and Shane Trussell. Tide was coming off of a 2.5' low at 12:53 pm. Conditions were glass, with no winds. Torrey Pines Outer Buoy was reporting Significant Wave Height of (please see today's earlier post). Body surfing session was really fun today. Waves were a little to walled for board surfing, but a lot of fun for body surfing. Quite a few barrels to be had, and got by best body surfing barrel so far. Waves were 3' +. Water was a little chilly in my farmer john. Board ridden: not applicable.

8.31.13 - Oceanside Harbor

Paddled out at 6:45 am, with Joel S. and Chris M.. Tide was pushing to a 4.2' high at 8:00 am. Conditions were clean, with no winds. Torrey Pines Outer Buoy was reporting Significant Wave Height of 2.6' from 194° at 13s. Pretty fun session on the south side of the south jetty. It was pretty inconsistent, but relatively fun when the sets rolled through. Waves were waist to chest high. Water was warm in my short sleeve full. Board ridden: 6'0" MR Twin.

8.30.13 - Blacks

Paddled out at 5:50 am, solo, but joined by Chris M. later. Tide was pushing to a 3.9' high at 7:35 am. Conditions were clean, with no winds. Torrey Pines Outer Buoy was reporting Significant Wave Height of 2.9' from 279° at 5s. Todays session was just okay. The combo S ground swell and W wind swell made the conditions  pretty crossed up. I did catch a few really fun ones though. It was quite crowded, as this was one of the first days of surf in some time. Waves were waist high with occasional pluses. Water was COLD. Board ridden: 6'0" MR Twin.
