01.18.15 - Boneyards

Paddled out at 10:00 am, with Yunuen D. and Larry G. Tide was dropping to a -1.3’ low at 2:04 pm. Conditions were clean, with no winds. Torrey Pines Outer Buoy was reporting Significant Wave Height of 2.6' from 270° at 12.3s. Another somewhat soft surf session, relatively inconsistent, and some longboard tensions going on. Waves were chest high. Water was comfortable in my 3/2 full. Board ridden: 5’11” Xanadu Pig 2, ridden as a twin fin.

01.17.15 - Rock Pile (Solana Beach)

Paddled out at 6:20 am, with Yunuen D. Tide was just peaking at a 6.2’ high at 6:18 am. Conditions were clean, with offshore winds. Torrey Pines Outer Buoy was reporting Significant Wave Height of 3.1' from 270° at 12.8s. The session was pretty soft due to the high tide. Did manage to pick off a few fun lefts. Waves were chest high, plus. Water was comfortable in my 3/2 full. Air was chilly due to the offshore winds. Board ridden: 5’11” Xanadu Pig 2.

01.15.15 - Blacks

Paddled out at 6:20 am, with Joel S. and Chris M. Tide was coming off of a 5.3’ high at 4:48 am. Conditions were clean, with off shore winds. Torrey Pines Outer Buoy was reporting Significant Wave Height of 2' from 264° at 16.7s. Pretty fun session. Was pretty crowded early, but still managed to get a few decent ones in in the 50 min session I had. Waves were chest high plus. Water was comfortable in my 3/2 full. Board ridden: 5’11” Xanadu Pig 2.
