07.04.2012 - Blacks

Paddled out at 6:15 AM, with Chris M. Tide was slowly filling in from a -1.48' low at 4:33 AM. Conditions were pretty sloppy due to the really low tide, with slight south west winds. Torrey Pines Outer Buoy was reporting Significant Wave Height of 2.6' from 258°. When we showed up, south peak wasn't breaking at all, middles had a few waves, and most of the waves were breaking at north peak. Almost everyone was at north peak, so Chris and I chose to paddle out at middles. Waves were waist high. Water was warm in my ss fullsuit. Board ridden: 5'10" KG Twinzer.
