03.04.15 - Blacks

Paddled out at 6:05 am, Joel S. Tide was pushing to a 5.29’ high at 8:16 am. Conditions were clean, with offshore winds. Torrey Pines Outer Buoy was reporting Significant Wave Height of 3.2' from 200° at 17.7s. Pretty fun session today. A little on the walled and inconsistent side, but when the sets rolled through - watch out. Another issue was the cauldron on the inside. Both Joel and I got caught in that more times then I’d like to admit. But all in all, I’m really happy with the session. Waves were chest to head high with some overhead sets. Water was comfortable in my 3/2 full, air was a little chilly. Board ridden: 5’11” Xanadu Pig 2.
