Paddled out at 11:30 am, solo. Tide was coming off of a 5.2’ high at 11:30 am. Conditions were pretty clean, with slight onshore wind winds. Torrey Pines Outer Buoy was reporting Significant Wave Height of 2.8' from 225° at 13s. The first part of the session was pretty fun. Some nice left corners coming through. The wind picked up through out the session so conditions deteriorated. Waves were waist high +. Water was comfortable in my 3/2 full. Board ridden: 5’10” Third World Exotic twinzer fish.

02.20.15 - 25th St. Del Mar
Paddled out at 1:30 PM, solo. Tide was dropping to a -1.0’ low at 4:15 pm. Conditions were junky, with onshore winds winds. Torrey Pines Outer Buoy was reporting Significant Wave Height of 2.6' from 235°at 12s. Pretty junky session, but still managed to get a couple of decent waves. Waves were waist high. Water was comfortable in my 3/2 full. Board ridden: 5’10” Third World Exotic Twinzer Fish.

02.08.15 - Del Mar Rivermouth
Paddled out at 6:45 am, Chris M. Tide was pushing to a 4.3’ high at 11:05 am. Conditions were clean, with light offshore winds. Torrey Pines Outer Buoy was reporting Significant Wave Height of 4.8' from 253° at 13.4s. Turned out to be a pretty fun session at the north end of the river mouth. Waves were chest to head high. Water was comfortable in my 3/2 full. Board ridden: 5’11” Xanadu Pig 2.

12.26.14 - 11th Street Del Mar
Paddled out at 7:00 am, with Chris M. Tide was coming off of a 2.0’ low at 5:55am. Conditions were clean, with offshore winds. Torrey Pines Outer Buoy was reporting Significant Wave Height of 4.5' from 278° at 13.0s. I can’t really say why, but it was a funky session. Waves were head high. Water was comfortable in my 3/2 full, but the air was quite chilly. Board ridden: 5’11” Xanadu Pig 2.

Paddled out at 2:00 PM, Chris M. Tide was dropping to a -1.1’ low at 5:06 pm. Conditions were clean, with no winds. Torrey Pines Outer Buoy was reporting Significant Wave Height of 3.8' from 266° at 16.2s. Fun session. Started out at the north side of the river mouth, but it was pretty closed out. So we paddled north to the reefs... Waves were Head high plus. Water was comfortable in my 3/2 full. Board ridden: 5’11” Xanadu Pig 2.

10.12.14 - Del Mar Rivermouth
Paddled out at 6:30 AM, with Chris M. and Joel S. Tide was coming off a 2.3’ low at 5:47 AM. Conditions were clean, with no winds. Torrey Pines Outer Buoy was reporting Significant Wave Height of 2.9' from 256° at 17.3s. It was a decent session. The swell had definitely filled in. A lot of waves were pretty closed out. I did catch some decent rights at the north end at first, but the waves looked more consistent down south, so we headed there. Chris and Joel locked into some nice barrels. Waves were head high, with some pluses. Water was warm in my ss full suit. Board ridden: 5’11’ Xanadu Pig2.

Paddled out at 4:00 PM, with Chris M. Tide was dropping to a 0.0’ low at 6:16 PM. Conditions were relatively clean, with slight onshore winds. Torrey Pines Outer Buoy was reporting Significant Wave Height of 2.4' from 230° at 17.1s. It was a small session, but a few fun lefts came through. Waves were waist high. Water was warm in trunks and ls jacket. Board ridden: 5”10 Third World Exotic Twinzer fish.

Paddled out at 6:15 am, Joel S. and Chris M.. Tide was pushing to a 4.4’ high at 7:29 am. Conditions were a little bouncy, with light winds. Torrey Pines Outer Buoy was reporting Significant Wave Height of 5.3' from 208° at 17.4s. Today was bigger than Tuesday’s session, with some sneaker sets rolling through. Caught a few funs ones, but my timing was still feeling a little off. Waves were Head high with plus sets. Water was a little chilly in my spring suit. Board ridden: 5’11” Xanadu Pig 2.

09.16.14 - Del Mar Rivermouth
Paddled out at 6:20 am, Chris M. and Joel S. Tide was just coming off of a 3.55’ high at 5:47 am. Conditions were clean, with no winds. Torrey Pines Outer Buoy was reporting Significant Wave Height of 4.9' from 203° at 22.4s. It was a pretty fun session on the south side of the river mouth. Waves had that peaky wind swell feel to them. I was noticing a slight lack of wave judgement due to my hiatus.. Waves were chest high. Water was a little chilly in my spring suit. 10.3.13 - Del Mar River Mouth
Paddled out at 6:30 am, with Chris M.. Tide was pushing to a 5.5' high at 8:41 am. Conditions were glassy, with no winds. Torrey Pines Outer Buoy was reporting Significant Wave Height of 3.7' from 264° at 12s. It was pretty fun at the north river mouth today. Most waves were closed out, but still a few fun corners to be had. Waves were chest high with occasional plus. Water was warm in my short sleeve full. Board ridden: 6'0" MR Twin.
