Paddled out with Russ and his son. We hung out on the inside, b/c there were a ton of longboarders outside. Caught a few fun ones. Did get a little frustrated with the crowd - not necessarily the number, but the attitude... Alas.

Paddled out during a break in the rain. Conditions looked mediocre from the parking lot, but I figured it's the last session for 2016, so I grabbed my longboard and headed to north peak. I was solo for most of the session, then two other long boarders paddled out. It was a surprisingly fun session.

Paddled out about 45 minutes before sunset. Had a pretty fun session on my fish. Had the middle peak basically to myself. Nice to have a two session day.

Paddled out at 6:45 am, solo. Tide was coming off of a 3.0' low at 6:14 am. Conditions were clean, with no winds. Torrey Pines Outer Buoy was reporting Significant Wave Height of 2.7' from 202° at 14.9s. Generally a kind of blah session. Pretty small, and inconsistent. Waves were waist high. Water was warm in my short sleeve full. Board ridden: 5’11” Xanadu Pig 2.

Paddled out at 7:20 pm, solo. Tide was dropping to a 2.17’ low at 8:17 pm. Conditions were pretty junky, with dying onshore winds. Torrey Pines Outer Buoy was reporting Significant Wave Height of 2.6' from 192° at 13.8s. Pretty small and junky conditions, but still fun longboard session. Waves were waist high. Water was warm in my trunks. Board ridden: 9’6” Wegener.

Torrey Pines Outer Buoy was reporting Significant Wave Height of 1.9’ combined at 13.8s from 215°. Pretty meager session, surf wise, but really fun to be in the water with Chris and MJ. It was also fun to ride three of my boards in one session. Waves were thigh high. Water was comfortable in my short sleeve full suit. Board ridden: 9’6” Wegener, 5’10” Third World Exotic Twinzer Fish, and 5’11” Xanadu Pig 2.

Paddled out at 9:30 am, solo. Tide was just starting to push from a 0.1’ low at 9:00 am. Conditions were clean, with slight south winds winds. Torrey Pines Outer Buoy was reporting Significant Wave Height of 3.4' from 195° at 15.4s. First session on the new (to me) longboard. Caught a few fun ones, but will take some time to figure out the new board. Waves were waist high. Water was comfortable in my short sleeve full suit. Board ridden: 9’6” Wegemen longboard.

Water was comfortable in my 3/2 full. Board ridden: 5’10” Third World Exotic Fish.

Paddled out at 7:00 am, solo. Tide was pushing to a 5.7’ high at 10:41 am. Conditions were clean, with slight south winds. Torrey Pines Outer Buoy was reporting Significant Wave Height of 2.6' from 240° at 13.7s. An okay session at Ponto. Small and a little closed out, but occasionally a decent corner. Waves were waist high with a plus now and then. Water was warm in my 3/2 full. Board ridden: 5’10” Third World Exotic Twinzer fish.

Paddled out at 7:00 am, with Joel S. Tide was coming off of a 0.7’ low at 5:18am. Conditions were clean, with no winds.
