Paddled out at 2:00 PM, with Chris P. Tide was coming off of a 4.7’ high at 12:29 pm. Conditions were clean, with slight onshore winds. Torrey Pines Outer Buoy was reporting Significant Wave Height of 4.0' from 285° at 11.3s. Had a really funny session with Chris P. Waves were chest high plus. Water was comfy in my 3/2 full. Board ridden: 5’11” Xanadu Pig 2 (as a twin fin).

12.26.14 - 11th Street Del Mar

Paddled out at 7:00 am, with Chris M. Tide was coming off of a 2.0’ low at 5:55am. Conditions were clean, with offshore winds. Torrey Pines Outer Buoy was reporting Significant Wave Height of 4.5' from 278° at 13.0s. I can’t really say why, but it was a funky session. Waves were head high. Water was comfortable in my 3/2 full, but the air was quite chilly. Board ridden: 5’11” Xanadu Pig 2.

12.24.14 - Del Mar Rivermouth

Paddled out at 2:00 PM, Chris M. Tide was dropping to a -1.1’ low at 5:06 pm. Conditions were clean, with no winds. Torrey Pines Outer Buoy was reporting Significant Wave Height of 3.8' from 266° at 16.2s. Fun session. Started out at the north side of the river mouth, but it was pretty closed out. So we paddled north to the reefs... Waves were Head high plus. Water was comfortable in my 3/2 full. Board ridden: 5’11” Xanadu Pig 2.

12.18.14 - Blacks

Paddled out at 6:15, solo. Tide was dropping from a 6.0’ high at 6:04 am. Conditions were a little crossed up, with strong offshore winds winds. Torrey Pines Outer Buoy was reporting Significant Wave Height of 5.0' from 276° at 11.5s. It was only a mediocre session for me. My head just wasn’t in the game today. Waves were head high plus. Water was comfortable, but air temp was cold. Board ridden: 5’11” Xanadu Pig 2.

11.29.14 - Beacons

Paddled out at 6:10 am, solo. Tide was dropping to a 2.3’ low at 9:12 am. Conditions were clean, with slight offshore winds. Torrey Pines Outer Buoy was reporting Significant Wave Height of 3.4' from 269° at 12.9s. Pretty fun session at Phoebe St. It was a little smaller, and less consistent, than I had hoped for. By being patient, I was able to pick of quite a few of the bigger sets that rolled through. Waves were chest high to slightly overhead. Water was comfortable in my 3/2 full. Board ridden: 5’11” Xanadu Pig 2.

11.28.14 - Blacks

Paddled out at 6:00 am, Chris M. Tide was dropping to a 2.7’ low at 7:33 am. Conditions were clean , with no winds. Torrey Pines Outer Buoy was reporting Significant Wave Height of 1.7' from 252° at 14.8s. It was a really small session. I thought the new swell would have been hitting, but not quite yet. I did manage to get a handful of "decent" ones though. Waves were knee to waist high. Water was comfortable in my 3/2 full. Board ridden: 5’11” Xanadu Pig 2.
